Dr. Eunsung Park is an Assistant Professor of Learning Design and Technology at the College of Education, Tennessee Tech University, where she researches learning analytics to understand how students make decisions and process their learning, and to design better supports around those decisions. Her current work includes a study tracing the structural evolution of conceptual knowledge over the course of semester-long online discussion activities. Her work also focuses on developing and integrating generative AI tools to improve teaching and learning across university courses. Methodologically, she draws on mixed methods, text-mining, social network analysis, and epistemic network analysis to examine learner behavior and discourse in online and blended environments. Her funded projects include an NSF traineeship on AI, energy, and cybersecurity, and an initiative developing an AI-powered pedagogical partner for university courses. She teaches courses in learning analytics, instructional design, and AI literacy.
