Dr. Robin Keturah Anderson is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at North Carolina State University. Her research focuses on the complexities of mathematics teacher learning, specifically investigating justice-oriented teaching, professional development, and pre-service teacher preparation. A central part of her current work is a NSF-funded project, serving as Co-Principal Investigator with Temple Walkowiak, examining teacher expertise within nested learning systems within elementary and secondary Professional Learning Communities. Dr. Anderson has also been recognized as a 2023–2026 NC State Goodnight Early Career Innovator and a 2020 Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators STaR Fellow. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D. at Stanford University, Dr. Anderson spent eight years as a mathematics and physics teacher at a public secondary school in Southern California.
